Kaiser of Singularity - Visual Novel (winner of Ukrainian Visual Novel Jam 2022)

I've had an amazing opportunity to work on this award-winning visual novel titled "Kaiser of Singularity" for the Ukrainian Visual Novel Jam 2022, hosted by TERNOX on itch.io

The main theme of the event was Escapism, and the project drew a lot of inspiration from rural industrial towns of Ukraine and the surreally depressive reality of life there. It was an amazing project to take part in, as I myself am from a similar place, and many design choices were inspired by my own life experiences growing up in Zaporizhia, Ukraine.

As part of the creative team, I was responsible for Environment Illustration and Assets Art and Design, as well as visual development and branding of the project. I've had a blast creating Background and Asset Designs in a semi-realistic style, conveying the dark uncanny reality of the novel.
